We believe in God, the Creator Almighty,
Who made all things, seen and unseen,
And we believe that God is good.
We believe what our women have seen:
Jesus Christ is not dead, but he is alive!
He walked among us, healed us,
Taught us to love, challenged power, and raised the dead.
He was crucified by Roman soldiers under Pontius Pilate,
And truly died.
But on the third day he rose up!
He is the firstborn of the dead
And opens the gates of heaven for us!
He sits now at the right hand of God.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
Who continues to work among us now.
We believe in one church, and Her saints,
And we believe that Jesus will raise us too.
Amen!
