We put our trust in you,
so we gladly offer you these gifts.
Use them to do more good things for everyone who needs them.
We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Shine your face on us.
Keep us safe like a mother bird shelters her chicks.
Show us your faithful love,
and hear all our prayers.
We wait for you, O Lord.
We are strong and take courage,
as we pray in Jesus’ name, saying:

Lord God,
in the baptism of Jesus,
you proclaimed aloud to all who would hear
that He is Your beloved Son.
In our baptism, we are adopted into that same family!
Through our gifts, and through our service,
may we be coworkers with Christ,
our brother, our friend, our Lord and King,
who laid down his life for ours;
whose sacrifice bought our redemption,
and who taught us to pray together:
Our Father…

Jesus, Son of the Most High God,
you have done great things for us.
Let these offerings show your mercy to all people
and proclaim all that you have done for us, O Lord. Amen.

(sung to LAND OF REST)
Let seekers of the star’s true Light now by that Light be found.
This Light made Bread and Cup of blessing, our souls with joy has crowned.
The star’s true Light, born in a stable, comes now to feed and to live
Among us, at this very table, his life for all to give.
So let our hearts be filled with heaven, our minds, with truth, made clear;
Let bodies know the earthly power of God in Christ drawn near.
