call to worship
CTW: bless the lord…
Call to Worship from Psalms 103 and 77
L: Bless the Lord, O my soul,
P: and all that is within me, bless God’s holy name.
L: I will call to mind the deeds of the Lord;
P: I will remember your wonders of all.
L: I will meditate on all your work,
P: and muse on your mighty deeds.
L: Bless the Lord, O my soul,
P: and do not forget all God’s benefits.

CTW: triune God
Leader: We come to worship God the Father,
People: who is the Alpha and Omega, who created out of nothing, and formed us from the dust of the earth.
Leader: We come to worship God the Son,
People: who is eternally begotten of the Father, revealed to us in Jesus Christ, and has saved us from our sinful nature.
Leader: We come to worship God the Holy Spirit,
People: who eternally proceeds from the Father and Son, brings us to the knowledge of God’s self-revelation in Christ, and sustains and renews our faith.
Leader: We come to worship the one triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
All: Together, let us worship God!

CTW: wildly mysterious world
CTW: God’s Spirit Calls
One: God’s Spirit calls–come! hear! live!
All: In every place and every time, the wisdom of God rings out.
One: Before the beginning, the Spirit danced.
All: Before we understand, God loves.
One: Daily, like a friend, like a colleague, like a child, God whirls into our lives to say: Come. Hear. Live.
All: Let us join the dance.
